Two day training workshop on Naujawanan-e-Pakistan held at Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of Karachi

A two day training workshop on Naujawanan-e-Pakistan for the Project “Advancing Inclusiveness among Youth through Training and Education” was held on 26-27 Oct, 2019 at Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of Karachi jointly organized by Paigham-e-Pakistan Centre for Peace, Reconciliation & Reconstruction Studies, Islamic Research Institute (IRI), International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) and Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of Karachi in collaboration with Inter Universities Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences, Islamabad. The aim of the workshop was to promote the narrative of peace and engage youth as they have the key for peaceful development of a nation. Prof. Dr. Khalid M. Iraqi (Vice Chancellor, University of Karachi) was the Guest of honor , Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Ahmed Al Draiweesh ( President, IIUI) was the Chief guest while Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia ul Haq (Director General, Islamic Research Institute, IIUI), Dr. Syed Ghazanfar Ahmed (Assistant Professor, University of Karachi), Syed Ayaz Shah (Director External Affairs, Jamia tur Rasheed, Karachi), Dr. Muhammad Riaz Mehmood (Assistant Professor, University of Gujrat), Mr. Rustam Khan (Deputy Director, Islamic Research Institute, IIUI), Prof. Dr. Abida Shams (Director, Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre, University of Karachi), Prof Dr. Shahnaz Ghazi (Dean F/O, Islamic Studies, University of Karachi) were the keynote speakers.
